The movies is still in my head! Ahhh!
When they were all gone, we went to the lounge and took out a pack of cards so we could play last car torture. The game was a little long because we changed the rules to make it more challenging. The rules were that only the first four people to complete could do the torturing. The first four people to finish the card game was my older cousin, my two other cousin and my sister Anna. When everyone finished doing their torture, my cousin's veins looked like they would pop out.
Afterwards it was time to make our bed. Four people went to the basement to get two mattresses while the rest of us collected the blankets, pillows and bed covers to make the beds with. We got as many blankets as we could so that we would be warm. Just before we got all the blankets and the pillows, we rearranged some of the furniture so that we could all fit in the lounge together when we sleep.
Once all the furnitures were rearranged, we laid the two high mattresses and the blankets down on beds. Eventually we laid ourselves down on the bed and watched two movies.
Later on, we heard a knock on the door. My cousin got out of bed to go and open it. When she opened it, it was my older sister. She came to give us food because my cousin texted her to bring some over to the house. My sister came with three boxes of domino pizza, lollies, chips, drinks and popcorn. We had to be extra quiet because my uncle was sleeping.
After a while, it was time for us to go to bed because it was nearly 2:00 o'clock. My three cousins and I couldn't sleep because the scary movie was stuck in our heads. Soon the images of the movie disappeared because we started thinking about what we were going to do the next day. Everyone else had fallen asleep and the lounge was so dark that we couldn't see anything because all the lights and the television was off.
We all fell asleep straight after we thought about what we were going to do the next day. I had really fun night eating the yummy food and watching the movies.
My favourite part was when we all watched the scary movie and ate junk food because some of my cousins and I screamed when the scary parts appeared.
Learning Intention: We are learning to understand and use descriptive language in our writing.
