Descriptions of the work that the Mission Sisters carried out:
1.In France: The sisters were involved in teaching Catechism in schools.
2.In Australia: The Mission Sisters established two high schools and three primary school. They had to leave from New Zealand, Italy, France or England to go and teach in Australia.
3.In Bangladesh: The Sisters were working in the orphanage and teaching children.
4.In Senegal: Within the first few months there, the Sisters opened a kindergarten.
5.In Vietnam: The Mission Sisters went to Thanh Hoa and built a small French boarding school.
6.In Latin American: On the 12th of December 1968, three Mission Sisters arrived in Moquegua to start their first Mission.
7.In Myanmar: On the Sisters' free days, they visited the hospital and poor students.
8.In Italy: Euphrasie Barbier began to dream of going to the
foreign missions.
Learning Intention: We are learning to understand how the mission sisters reached out to others around the world.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I list all the places that Euphrasie Barbier and the Mission Sisters travelled to around the world to carry out their mission.
