WOW! I have a stone spider!

You will need:

• A medium or large sized rock
• Black or Grey paint
• Paint brush
• Black marker
• Drinking straws
• Ruler

You need to:

1. Paint the rock black or grey and let it dry.
2. Now paint the body of your spider any colour that you want, then let it dry.
3. You can now paint the drinking straws black for the legs. When it has dried, cut it into 8 centimetres.
4. Use the marker or black paint for the eyes of the spider.
5. Write a little message or the name of someone at the back of the rock or at the front.
6. You can also add some little drawings around it to make it pretty.

Learning intention: We are learning to write a procedure.

Success criteria: I know I can do this when I follow the correct structure of a procedure to write the steps for making a stone spider.
